Middle East Broadcasting Networks Seeks Freelance Producer/ Reporter ($1600 per story)

Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. is an international multi-media broadcasting corporation based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area that broadcasts news and information to the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Europe.

We are seeking qualified Arabic-speaking Freelance Producers/Reporters based out of the Los Angeles area. This is a contract position.

Position: Freelance Producer/Reporter
Based out of: Los Angeles, California
Pay: $1,600 per story (5-7 min in length)
Work: 2 Stories per month
Contract: One Year

Other: Arabic Speaker a must

Responsibilities:
1. Develop story concepts with Executive Producer/Editor in Chief
2. Direct the approach, lighting, and set design if applicable
3. Develop scripts
4. Coordinate pre-production planning
5. Supervise story production
6. Approve changes
7. Provide Camera crews and sound technicians
8. Responsible for all travel costs unless prior approval is granted for stories out of Los Angeles
9. Serve as on-camera reporter (modern standard Arabic)
