Vacancy: English Language and Comparative Literature, University of Fort Hare

Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor: English Language and Comparative Literature.

Requirements:
  • PhD in English Linguistics.
  • Interest in either General or Applied English Linguistics.
  • Willingness to teach in undergraduate and postgraduate linguistics modules.
  • Willingness to supervise and develop English language skills acquisition programmes.
  • Willingness to perform extensive administrative duties in the Department.
  • Evidence of research performed in some field of English Linguistics.
  • At least five years' experience in English Linguistics teaching at tertiary level.
  • Experience or training in English Literature would be an advantage.
