Job Opening: Lecturer - Sub-Editing and Publishing for Rosebank College South Africa

Introduction

Rosebank College Braamfontein is looking for an independent contractor (lecturer) with relevant Qualifications and industry related experience in the Sub Editing and Publishing sector to lecture in 2011.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years lecturing experience at a tertiary level
• Qualifications: Minimum a degree in Sub Editing and Publishing or related
• Industry experience in the field of Sub Editing and Publishing
• InDesign ( Part of Adobe design CS5 Suite)

Applicants who do not meet the requirements will not be considered for the position.

Job specification:

• Responsible for delivering quality lectures to students in designated programmes (including preparation and marking).
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of Work Integrated Learning in area of specialisation (if required).
• Offering of Individual Tutorials to students with academic problems.
