Mr Adam said the aim of the competition is to involve students in Seychelles’ foreign policy and the vital work of the ministry.
He added that it is a chance for those with an interest in international relations, and possibly a career in diplomacy, to engage with the ministry and show the unique and dynamic perspectives they might have to contribute to their country’s development.
The contest winner will be awarded a six-week paid attachment at the ministry’s Maison QuĂ©au de Quinssy headquarters, which will include a period at a Seychelles embassy abroad.
Further details of the essay competition will be made public and forwarded to the various educational institutions before the end of the month.
