Job Opening: Copywriter/ Editor for African Foresight (South Africa)

Location: Cape Town

Contract: Part Time

Cape Town CBD Company needs a part-time copywriter/editor to design, write and edit high quality corporate reports, marketing material and write comprehensive text for our website. The successful applicant must have a flair for business writing and preferably have experience in writing materials for economic forecasting.

Your competencies should include: the ability to work under pressure with great accuracy, the ability to integrate work from various sources, excellent conceptual abilities and great interpersonal skills. The successful applicant’s first challenge will be to redo all marketing and web material.

You must have proof of at least:

• An ‘A’ aggregate for HG English matric or an A for an University English subject
• A University Degree
• 5 years copywriting or editing experience, as well as some research experience
• E Commerce website design and SEO knowledge a bonus
• A keen interest in the socio-political and economic world and the general business environment (you should enjoy reading The Economist)

Remuneration: Dependent on skills level. Remuneration can be per job or a monthly retainer amount.

Work times: Part-time - 3 full days or 5 mornings per week.
