Job description
Two community magazines require the services of an editor. This is a perfect position for a young motivated person who has good writing skills and magazine or newspaper experience. The editor will need to have a keen interest and knowledge of the digital world, including web initiatives, mobile and tablet applications. The incumbent will primarily be required to:
• Plan content mix of each issue
• Write content for print and online
• Establish a network of writers and photographers
• Commission content
• Represent the title at community events
