Job description
The Crest magazine is looking for a passionate, creative and talented Editor. The applicant must have relevant editorial experience in both print and digital media. The ideal candidate would be a part of the Upper Highway community either through business or personal.
Key Responsibilities
• Creation and commissioning of all editorial content for print and online title in line with agreed standards (as prescribed in the Brand Bible), on time and against budget
• Develop editorial content plan for each fiscal with sales team
Duties
• Create and commission articles from writers and photographers. Cut, sub, rewrite and follow up with writers where required.
• Regularly update community website
• Manage editorial budget
• Prepare dummy
• Ensure all magazines are proof read and signed off
• Liaise with sales division on features
• Represent the magazine in the public arena, industry and with readers
• Plan and manage regular editorial meetings
