The State Theatre is calling out for aspiring/ inspired writers across South Africa to submit their scripts of new and original plays. Submission deadline for the scripts is 29 July.
Along with their scripts, aspiring playwrights are required to submit their presentation in a form of: a synopsis, character breakdown and conceptual treatment of the world of their play. Selected writers will be given an opportunity to develop their scripts with the assistance of Dramaturges as well an opportunity to stage their works between the years, 2012 and 2014.
