Job Opening: Sports Writer/ Editor for Score Grid (South Africa)

We are looking for an experienced writer and editor with a passion for all sport particularly football. Must be able to multitask, work across multi-platforms and have a great eye for statistics, proofing and detail. Must be very computer literate.

Requirements

• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent editing skills
• Resourcefulness
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• Good people skills
• A passion for exceptional client service
• Excellent computer skills
• Good process management skill
• Must be available weekends and nights when required

Personal Skills/Attributes

• A journalism degree / diploma or similar
• At least five years' experience in a content environment (preferably magazines)
• An unendorsed drivers license
• Ability to travel
