Knight International Journalism Fellowship: Media Manager Wanted for The International Center for Journalists (Kenya)

The International Center for Journalists seeks an experienced media manager to oversee a multi-country media development project based in Kenya. The Knight International Journalism Fellow will lead a project to improve business management practices at three media organizations in three countries, developing sustainable business models that can be duplicated. Project will focus on improving advertising, marketing, personnel and other management skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in media management, marketing and/or advertising

- Experience in Africa

- Journalism experience is a plus

- Fluency in English; French would be a plus

- Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills

- Excellent organizational skills

- African candidates are encouraged to apply
