Call for Writers/ Journalists: Gay Kenya (Kenya LGBT News Source)

Freedom in Speech is seeking stories, writers, contributors

The Board of Freedom in Speech is calling on interested persons to apply for opportunitties to be writers and journalists for the sophomore Kenyan LGBT news source - Freedom In Speech.

The website is a collaboration of Gay Kenya and AFRA-KENYA, two of Kenya's LGBT groups. Gay Kenya is a group of gay-identifying men while AFRA-KENYA members are drawn from the lesbian, trans and bisexual community. Members of both groups attended a human rights training courtesy of Internews at the I&M Building. The project was part of the human rights project that seeks to advance human rights especially for persons who are often marginalized or discriminated.
