Job Opening: Senior Journalist for MyBroadband (South Africa)

MyBroadband.co.za is looking to hire a journalist/senior journalist with a solid understanding of IT. You will have to produce original, leading articles in your field daily as well as assist with certain editorial tasks.

We are the largest online IT publication in SA. We have a strong online community and a news website. MyBroadband has established itself as the dominant player in the market by providing breaking news that is accurate and relevant.

REQUIREMENTS

• Interest in IT
• Experience in online publishing/writing
• Build up and maintain relationships within the industry
• A drive to get the news up first
• Focus on publishing breaking news in your field of expertise

PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
  • Eye for detail and the ability to edit under time pressure
  • Enthusiastic, enjoy writing (specifically online)
  • Able to work independently and to deadlines
