Fez Festival of the Mediterranean Book: Diasporic Morrocan Culture

The fourth edition of the Fez Festival of the Mediterranean Book will open on April 21st with this year’s theme “Diasporic Moroccan Culture…Cross-cutting Approaches”. The festival is jointly organized by the Book Club Foundation in Morocco in partnership with the Fez City Municipal Council and the Ministry of Culture. Institut Fraincais and the Cervantes Institute, two of the festival sponsors, will be holding events/talks before and during the festival scheduled to run until the 26th of April. The Book Club Foundation will also award the Fez Prize for Mediterranean Creativity to a diasporic Moroccan writer who contributed to the promotion of the Moroccan culture abroad.
