OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME :

To facilitate communication and flow of ideas among Member States of the WHO African Region and provide translation, editing and interpretation support to Regional programme operations

Description of duties:

Provide Editing/Revision services in English, French and Portuguese languages.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

University language degree in English, French and Portuguese. Being a Member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) is an asset.

Experience:

Seven years of progressive experience in editing/revision of work at the international level, preferably at international/regional levels or in a United Nations system organization

Languages:

Proficiency in English or French or Portuguese and knowledge of the other languages.
