The African Poet National Slam Poetry Competition (Nigeria)

Date: 22 June 2012 (auditions), 23 June 2012 (finals)

The African Poet is proud to bring the National Slam Poetry Competition in place of the TV reality show which has come under many challenges. The Slam competition is free and will hold on the 22nd and 23rd of June in Abuja. The star prize is N100, 000 and many cash prizes for other 15 contestants.

The competition is open to all Nigerians and entry is free. The winning prize is N100,000 and all 16 finalist will receive various cash prizes ranging between N10,000 – N50,000. Venue for audition is the Radio House, Garki Abuja.
