Job Opening: Features Writer for CitiVibe/ The Citizen (South Africa)

An opportunity for a features writer exists within our editorial department reporting to the CitiVibe editor of The Citizen newspaper.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Giving coverage to and help develop local and international arts, entertainment and lifestyle topics - individuals, productions and communities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sourcing and writing entertainment and lifestyle related articles,
• Sourcing and/or taking photographs,
• Attending functions and review events,
• Keeping up to date with the latest available stories in the areas covered

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's licence a must
• Own vehicle a must
• Must be Johannesburg-based

Preference will be given to individuals who will add to the diversity of the organisation.

• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, GN3
• Communication skills
