The news editor’s job focuses on in-house content by a talented team of seven journalists and a handful of freelancers from Egypt, across the region and around the world.
We are looking for someone who shares Egypt Independent’s passion and excitement at this revolutionary juncture in Egypt’s history.
Familiarity with Egypt’s complex and dynamic political life is required. A working command of written and spoken Arabic is highly desired. A candidate for this position should have more than three years of experience in journalism, preferably print. Strong teamwork skills and a dedicated work ethic are essential.
