Job Opening: Editor for Corridor Gazette and Full-time Journalist (Lowveld Media | Nelspruit, South Africa)

Lowveld Media is looking for an Editor for small community newspaper in Malalane and a full-time Journalist. The Editor takes full responsibility for the weekly newspaper, Corridor Gazette, as well as the management of the office. The Journalist reports for community newspapers in Nelspruit and surrounding areas. The suitable candidate must be hard-working and self-driven and able to work under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A recognised journalism degree or diploma
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
• Computer literate
• Own vehicle and legal driver's licence
• Experience in a newsroom
• Photographic skills.
