Newsclip Media Monitoring is looking for an outspoken individual who is able to connect the dots, understand media, the publicity space as well the public relations, marketing and corporate communications sector.

The company has expanded to include a fully-fledged publishing division that produces Media Update, Publicity Update and Marketing Update. In addition, newsclip education caters for quarterly seminars and corporate media training. Newsclip was established in 1983 and today monitors over 1 500 print media, over 500 commercially-viable websites and over 300 television and radio stations. REQUIREMENTS

• completed tertiary qualification in marketing/communications/public relations;
• editing experience is essential
• must have a good understanding and practical experience with social and digital media platforms;
• editing and sub-editing experience essential;
• computer literate;
• previous writing experience;
• a proven track record;
• good oral and written communication skills;
• ability to work under pressure and keep good time;
• independent worker;
• be able to work in a team;
• ability to write concisely;
• an interest in current affairs.
