- Diploma / Degree in English, Journalism, Media studies or communications with a keen interest or experience in social media
- 1 – 2 years corporate writing experience
- Must be active online and in the social media arena
- We are looking for an individual who can create and disseminate content that is 100% original, unique, has character and is well researched with absolutely no spelling or grammatical errors
- We will require a portfolio of evidence which should include, but not be limited to, blog posts, forum posts, answers and questions and web content etc.
KEY FUNCTION OF ROLE
- Manage the company’s presence and content on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, The company blog and other similar community sites as well as industry related blogs
- Generate strategies for online community growth and assist with rolling out successful social network campaigns
- Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs and events
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns
- To be active in industry forums and online communities
- Continuously look for more social network marketing opportunities
- Implement consumer education initiatives on the social networks
- Constantly look for more advertising opportunities online / industry related websites
- Utilise online advertising to build Compuscan’s brand and position Compuscan as industry expert
- Ensure constant competitor research in terms of online advertising is done
- Make use of online advertising to market new companies successfully
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent writing skills
- Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal
- Excellent understanding of social networking platforms
- Team player who brings innovative thinking and passion
- Creative thinker / thought provoker and able to generate new ideas, conversations and concepts
- Passion for social media is a must
- Must have an interest in creating unique and industry related content
BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING PACKAGE:
