The African Professionals Network Scholarship Essay Contest 2012 (US)

The African Professionals Network – Houston (AfriPRO Houston) is a global network of African professionals. The purpose of AfriPRO Houston is to motivate its network of African professionals to build a new positive image of and appreciation for Africa and Africans by organizing business, charitable, and professional networking events that inform, educate, empower, and celebrate Africa and Africans

The organization is having a scholarship contest.

High school and college students are welcome to apply for the 2012 scholarship essay contest. Applicants need to write a 500-1000 word essay contest on the following topic: “Is the need in Africa and other regions in the Global South: Integrity, Trade or Aid?”
