The Bible Society of Nigeria - NYSC Annual Essay Writing Competition 2012 (top prize: laptop, books | Nigeria)

The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is a non-profit-making interdenominational Christian organization founded on 8th February, 1966 to meet the Scriptural needs of Nigerians and to help people interact with the Word of God.

The organization hereby announces the maiden edition of NYSC Annual Essay Writing Competition/ National Symposium. This is an opportunity for interested graduates serving their fatherland to analyse and proffer solution to the socio-economic and political challenges confronting the national symposium where the best six participants will be brought together to defend their write-ups.

The essay must be original, empirical and meet the standards for publication in local and international Journals. All entries should be typed in 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper not more than 4,000 words. The font type should be Times New Roman with font size “12” points

TOPIC: “Good Governance: Antidote to Militancy and other Social Vices in Nigeria”

DATES:
  • 1st – 20th July, 2012: Essay Writing and Submission
  • 24th August, 2012: National Symposium (Grand-Finale)

PRIZES:
  • 1st Prize: Dv6 Hp laptop, Bible, management books
  • 2nd: desktop, Bible, management books

Method of Participation: Interested participants must be a Corp Member who is currently serving his/her fatherland in any State of Nigeria. Essay should be sent to nyscessay@biblesociety-nigeria.org or spiral bound hard copy could be sent to the address below but must be received on or before Friday 20th July, 2012 with a copy of the documents listed below.
