The aim of the press is to publish works that are critically, politically and historically engaged, and that explore the relationship between poetry and social documentary.
Our international anthology series showcases poetry from people and places often marginalised for reasons of capital or political culture. These books have gained critical and academic attention for their promotion of emerging as well as long-established poets, and voices previously unheard by English-speaking audiences. Our developing pamphlet series promotes original and exploratory poetry, including first collections, collaborations and even works-in-progress.
The press is built upon a not-for-profit ethos and co-operatively run by volunteers, working with the donated contributions of writers and editors.
