Daily News Egypt is looking to recruit news reporters on both full time basis and for internship opportunities.
Candidates must be able to generate news stories and produce engaging and accurate articles under the pressure of deadlines. Applicants must be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written Arabic and write quality copy in English.
A daily newspaper is a dynamic environment, and is built by reporters that are capable of being flexible as the needs of a story change or as the demands of the newsroom change. The ideal candidate will able identify news stories and present them at the daily editorial meeting, produce briefs on political events as they unfold and be willing to specialise in at least one aspect of Egypt’s political scene (for instance military trials).
Candidates must also be willing to support all sections of the newspaper, including politics, business, and arts and culture.
