Opens August 9 | The Karoo Writers Festival Opens August 9th (South Africa)

Date: 9 - 11 August 2012

The Schreiner Karoo Writers Festival celebrates all things literary from the beautiful Karoo. Now in its third successful year, the Schreiner: Karoo Writers Festival will this year run from 9th to 11th of August. There will be a special emphasis on women to coincide with National Women’s Day on Thursday 9 August.

Headline authors launching books will include the likes of Etienne van Heerden, Stephen Gray, Clinton v Du Plessis, Guy Jones and Elwyn Jenkins. The 'celebrating women' theme will be carried by Hillary Stakesby-Lewis, Sigi Howes, Ingrid Woolfaardt, EKM Dido and Tony Jackman.
