If you want to recognize his zeal for motivating today’s youth, you can just listen to top running commercial of present day, Hum Mien Hai Hero composed by A. R. Rehman and written for relaunch of one of the great brands of the Nation. His song “Naadan Parindey Ghar Aa ja..” from the movie Rock Star has become the anthem for today’s youth.
A Ph.D. in Hindi Poetry and a journalist by profession, Irshad’s love with Hindi/Hindustani poetry brought him to Mumbai. He loved his new profession like his love to his mother. He won his first Filmfare award while being nominated along with stalwarts of Hindi Cinema like Gulzar, Prasoon Joshi and Javed Akhtar.
