Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of business and finance and the ability to articulate complex ideas. They must also know how to generate story ideas and develop leads and contacts in the business world. Applicants must be able to communicate in spoken and written Arabic and write quality copy in English.
Business reporters will work alongside newsroom staff to produce engaging and accurate articles. They must also be able to post stories online and provide updates if the story develops. The ideal candidate will be able to work under the pressure of deadlines and thrive on working in a busy newsroom.
