Job Vacancy: Online Writer for Flow Communications (Cape Town, South Africa)

Flow Communications is an integrated communications company that delivers a total communications solution through compelling writing, elegant web development, design, e-marketing and social networking.

Due to Flow’s growth, we are looking for a mid-level to senior online writer with at least five years’ experience. The job involves developing a range of copy from short blog posts to extensive websites, for a variety of audiences, mostly in the tourism field. It promises wide variety, a pleasant and dynamic work environment, and opportunities for personal growth.

The job is a full-time permanent position, and we are not looking for freelancers or part-time subs. Flow will offer a competitive, market-related package.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent writing skills (a passion for punctuation and sweating the small stuff) and loads of experience
  • Degree in journalism or related field
  • Good online skills (ability to research/fact check using the Internet, ability to upload content on the back end of websites)
  • Good team player
  • Creative thinker and self-motivated
  • Ability to sub-edit an additional advantage.
PERSONAL SKILLS/ ATTRIBUTE: A creative problem-solver who can work well in a team of writers, web designers and strategists, who also values accuracy and perfection.
