Happening October 6th: Poetry Africa Malawi at the French Cultural Center

BAF is a 3-4 days arts festival in Blantyre with the main mission of unifying and promoting Malawian arts and culture through interactive capacity building events that lead to their artistic liberation and socio-economic empowerment.

On October 6th, BAF will feature Poetry Africa Malawi, a satellite programme of the Poetry Africa festival hosted by the Centre for Creative Arts (University of KwaZulu-Natal) in Durban. Celebrating the beauty and power of poetry, Poetry Africa Malawi takes place at the French Cultural Center in Blantyre from 6pm onwards with the participation of Pedro Espi-Sanchis (Spain/ South Africa), Ewok (South Africa), Philo Ikonya (Kenya), Madosini (South Africa), Nii Ayikwei Parkes (Ghana), D’bi Young (Jamaica), Chigo Gondwe (Malawi), and Nyamalikiti Nthiwatiwa (Malawi).

Tickets at K1,000 each.
