Work-From-Home Sports/ Soccer Journalist Wanted for Mobi-D (net salary: R7-7.5k | South Africa)

Mobi-D provides breaking news throughout the day and do live match coverage for some of the top Mobi sites in the country.

We have a position available for a junior to mid sports writer. Contact is for three month contract but there is potential for the position to become a full-time position. We are looking for writers who are not only passionate about sport, mostly football, but also willing to work a rotational shift system where there will be weekend and evening work.

We offer a highly flexible working environment, and as you will work from home, it is essential that you have a reliable computer/laptop as well as DSTV. On top of the shift basis, you are welcome to take on extra work when you are off shift if you want to make some more money. The net salary (after tax) is R7000 - R7500 depending on experience.

We will give preference to applicants who have previous online football experience. Please also note, it is important for you to understand and have a general knowledge of local and international football, and due to this being an online position - speed and accuracy is important.

  • Journalism diploma or relevant degree
  • One - two years online experience
