Call for submissions | Hausa Poetic Tones | collection of poems in Hausa | Nigeria

The Society of Young Nigerian Writers is calling for entries for Hausa Poetic Tones, a collection of poems in Hausa language. This is a poetry collection which will be published only in electronic format and promises to be a medium of promoting Hausa Language and discovering upcoming poets of Hausa expression

This call is only for young poets of Hausa expression.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
  • Submitted poem(s) must reflect any of the following issues (politics, economic, culture, religion and arts) in Nigeria.
  • Medium of language is Hausa
  • One poem per entrant.
  • Entry(s) should include the followings: name, age, state, local government, address, phone number, town, where you heard about the call for entries, e-mail/blog, letter of permission to publish your work.
  • Entries should be forwarded to societyofyoungnigerianwriters@gmail.com
  • This contest is only open to Young Poets of Hausa Expression between the ages of 15 and 35.
  • Entry closes on the 10th of July, 2013.
  • No room for late entries.
