Call for submissions | The Nigerian Writers Series

Deadline: 15 November 2013

The Association of Nigerian Authors hereby calls for submissions for its new publishing intervention, the Nigerian Writers Series. It would be recalled that the Association received a grant of N10,0000,000 from the Chief Servant of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu, for the purpose.

The Nigerian Writers Series will be modelled as a traditional-style publishing house with a website providing information on the Series, and with a mandate to support the next generation of new writings by new writers of Nigerian origin.

The website of the Series is www.nws-africa.com.ng

The Association has also entered into contracts with Jemie Books, Parrésia Publishers Ltd, The Book Company Ltd and Kraftbooks to serve as Publishing and Marketing Partners and will in due course be appointing Editor[s] for the Series in a bid to bring a range of experiences in book publishing to bear on this intervention.

Submissions will be accepted only as per guidelines and via the Submission Manager.
