Every month the magazine combines in-depth regional and country coverage with reports on capital markets and structured finance, risk management, working capital management and securities services, environmental finance, trade and project finance, trading, technology and management and governance issues.

Main duties and responsibilities

* Coverage of Africa
* Writing articles on capital markets and other banking topics
* Managing special reports
* Contribute to on-line content
* Chair roundtables
* Be involved with The Banker’s awards process

Essential

* Significant experience as a financial journalist, writing and editing finance articles
* Experience of interviewing at a senior level, up to CEO, CFO
* Prepared to travel frequently
* Knowledge of capital markets

Desirable

* Knowledge/interest in Africa/emerging markets
* Video experience
* Experience of chairing roundtables/events
