Vacancy: Assistant Professor of African American Literature, Arizona State University

Required: PhD in English, African American Studies, or a related field; demonstrated college-level teaching experience and record of ongoing research and publications in the field appropriate to rank sought. Teaching load is 2/2 with significant research agenda; opportunities for teaching at undergraduate, MA, and PhD levels.

Desired: Research and teaching expertise in early American, drama, contemporary literature, and literary or cultural theory.
