Job Opening: Assistant Editor for Mining Review Africa (Sprintelligent, Johannesburg)

ASSISTANT EDITOR

Independent contractor required to write and edit articles for the South African and African mining industry. Duties/responsibilities will include:

* Support the head editor as deputy editor.
* To provide head editor with four to six really good editorial pieces for each issue.
* Attend client functions and events to gain content for articles.
* Provide weekly reports to the publisher.
* Represent Mining Review Africa in a professional and upstanding manner.

REQUIREMENTS

* A degree in mining degree geology or mining management and engineering.
* Outstanding writing skills with the ability to speed write.
* Exposure to the mining industry.
* Clear passport with no travel restrictions.
* Prepared to travel into Africa regularly.
