Good News: The Sillerman Book Prize for African Poets is Now Free to Enter

Deadline: 15 November 2012

The African Poetry Book Fund has recently changed the guidelines for The Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poets. The competition will not anymore require an entry fee of $20.

The award is now free to enter for African Poets who was born in Africa, a national or resident of an African country, or whose parents are African. The winner receives USD $1000 and publication with the University of Nebraska Press and Amalion Press in Senegal.

Concurrently, submissions for the Brunel University African Poetry Prize opens on the same date.
