Francophone Editor Wanted for an LGBT African Poetry Anthology

Deadline: 19 October 2012

The editorial team of the first LGBT African Poetry Anthology is seeking a francophone co-editor.

The co-editor will share the responsibility of conducting outreach, the editorial process, and the marketing and promotion of the completed project. The ideal candidate will be based in either West, East, or Central Africa, possess strong literary prowess in French, and identify as part of the LGBTI African community.

Note: Previous experience editing publications for either print or online is strongly preferred, though not required.

SHARED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing outreach and communications strategy
  • Soliciting submissions from LGBTI Africans
  • Drafting a proposal to publishers
  • Editing, Editing, Editing
  • Marketing and promotion of the published anthology
