Pro For A Day Workshop for Journalism Students (organized by the San Diego Association of Black Journalists)

Join SDABJ on Saturday October 20, 2012 for a chance to learn from the pros. Journalism students get an invaluable opportunity to work with professional journalists as they produce their own stories for broadcast or online publication. There will be a component for students interested in public relations as well.

Offered free of charge, high school and college students should come to Southwestern College from 8:30 AM (SHARP! No kidding!) until 5:00 PM for an all day immersion in the world of journalism.

The deadline for registration is October 15, 2012. Space for the workshop is limited to 50 participants. The broadcast section is limited to 20 participants based on first come, first served. Please note, if you do not get your first choice, you will be placed in one of your subsequent choices.

Southwestern College is located at 900 Otay Lakes Road in Chula Vista. Don’t miss out on this unique experience.
