Deadline Extended: Random House Struik Short Story Competition (R5,000 top prize | South Africa)

Deadline: 31 March 2013

The deadline for the submission of entries to the Random House Struik's short story competition has been extended to March 31st. The date for the announcement of winners has also been changed to end of April.

Entrants should be young adults living in South Africa between the ages of 13 and 17. They are required to submit a fictional story of 1,000 words maximum on the titles prescribed by Random Struik. The winner will receive a cash prize of R5,000.
