Job Vacancy: Senior Writer for Icandi CQ (Rivonia, South Africa)

icandi CQ is an integrated communications agency that intelligently builds, manages and reshapes brands from the inside out by adding our unique blend of CQ (creative intelligence). We are currently on the hunt for the best senior writer out there with a minimum of five years, relevant agency experience.

THE ROLE INCLUDES:
  • Writing copy across all mediums across all lines: print, video, publications, presentations, digital, and, and - in fact across all mediums.
  • You'll be expected to (where applicable) do research, conduct interviews and attend client briefings.
  • As an integrated agency, our work includes internal communication and branding (which could be writing a message from a CEO, emailers, intranet content, etc) through to external brand and marketing campaigns - you will be expected to comfortably write to multiple audiences across multiple brands, ranging from banking to retail.
  • Quality control: ensuring the meticulous execution and delivery of work.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to conceptualise creatively intelligent campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum five years' experience as a writer (PR agency, Professional services or Below-the-line agency experience).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (journalism qualification preferred).
  • Research skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under extreme pressure and deliver on time, every time, at the very least meeting but mostly exceeding client expectations.
  • Great attention to detail.
