Call for Poetry: Veils, Halos and Shackles Anthology (India/ worldwide)

Deadline: 15 June 2013

For Veils, Halos and Shackles, an anthology of international poetry that will respond to the horrifying incidence of rape and other forms of violence and oppression directed at women in our time, Smita Sahay & Charles Fishman are seeking published and unpublished poems that center on any aspect of this issue.

Please send 1-3 poems (up to 10 total pages), to both editors, in a single Word attachment, along with a short bio of approximately 100 words and a paragraph or two regarding your reasons for addressing this subject in your poem(s).
