Job Vacancy: Lifestyle Print and Online Journalist for Caxton Newspapers (South Africa)

Caxton Newspaper is looking for a lifestyle and online journalist for Get It magazine in the Johannesburg Northern suburbs, Caxton's award winning magazine.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Have at least one year journalism experience, preferably in the magazine field.
  • Source and write own stories for monthly magazine.
  • Have a very high standard of English.
  • Ability to take own photographs
  • Attend social functions in the evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Computer literate, with a keen interest in online media and social networking.
  • Have an interest in lifestyle magazines and topics.
  • Work as a team player.
  • Must have own transport and valid driver's licence.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Be organised and pay meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creativity, self-motivation and ability to use own initiative essential.
  • Have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
