Central Media Group in Bloemfontein, Free State is looking for Senior Journalist with the following qualifications:
EDUCATION: Relevant tertiary qualifications
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Identify news, gathering the content and presenting it in the required format for different media platforms
- Have an extensive contact network
- Have a working knowledge of the various social media platforms
- Manage content strategy according to specific style guides and work independently in publishing special content packages for print and radio
- Have a passion for journalism and an extensive general knowledge of especially news and current affairs
- Have exceptional communication and written skills in English and Afrikaans
- Be able to work under extreme pressure and to tight deadlines
- A working knowledge of a camera and/or video camera
- Be computer literate
- Possess a driver's licence and own transport
