Freelance African Affairs/ Sports Writer Wanted for US-Based Newspaper (honorarium: $10-$100 per article)

A U.S. based newspaper with the mission of promoting and reporting good news about Africans in the United States and the diaspora is currently accepting articles for publication in its autumn 2012 issue.

In addition to general African-centered commentaries, cartoons, news analyses, personality profiles, photos, interviews, op-eds, features, entertainment stories etc., we are also looking for writers/journalists with sound knowledge of popular sports (including soccer) in Africa, United States, Europe and around the world. Features on sporting events and African sports personalities are welcome.

If you can craft timeless pieces suitable for publication in a quality serious periodical catering to people of African descent in the United States and diaspora, shoot us a sample of your work or a pitch.

Compensation: $10 - $100
